FAQs

How frequently will the Toolbox be updated with new resources?

> The aim is to add new tools each month. Sometimes it may be more frequently than this, sometimes less frequently - it all depends on what we discover that is going to be helpful and valuable to you!

When will Inbox Inspo start?

> Probably early 2023. These newsletters won't be weekly/monthly, but will be a bit more ad hoc than that. I want to make sure I'm producing content that has value, rather than rushing to send something out that is half-good.

How do I clone the Church Comms OS for my own use?

> The Church Comms OS is created in Notion, a free-to-use, powerful project management platform. You can clone the OS into your personal Notion account by clicking the 'Duplicate' link in the top right of the screen. PS - Notion offers Non Profits their Team plan for free 😉

Will Church Comms OS receive updates once I've purchased it?

> I'll be looking to produce new versions of Church Comms OS over the next few years. When a new version is ready, it will be sold as an individual product which can be purchased again, rather than offering it as a subscription service - if you liked the previous version and want to continue supporting it by buying the next version, that's fantastic. If you're happy with your current version, then you're not losing money on a subscription service. Win win!

Can I suggest resources for the Toolbox?

> Of course! If you have a suggestion you can use the Suggest a Resource form inside the Toolbox.

I paid for the Coaching Calls but haven't used all of my allowance. Can I claim it back?

> Unfortunately not. However, I'll be sure to remind you of upcoming calls to make sure you take advantage of them!

Why am I being charged in USD?

> The Church Comms Handbook is being sold on Gumroad, a US-based platform. The price you see is in £, but this will be converted to $ during checkout.

Who is Holy Goat Media?

> Payments for The Church Comms Handbook will be sent to the bank account of Holy Goat Media, a LTD company set up by Benj Lyon. Holy Goat Media is a web design agency run by Benj and his wife.
